Rainier suits sunny gardens and orchards seeking a premium pale cherry. Its large cream-yellow fruit, blushed red, is firm, exceptionally juicy, very sweet and gently sub-acid. We recommend it to growers who appreciate refined, mild-flavoured cherries. A compatible pollinator is required, while the pale fruit is susceptible to rain cracking, bruising and visible handling marks.
