Mirabelle Badoual is an excellent alternative to traditional mirabelles for growers seeking larger fruit. Its pink-flushed yellow plums are juicy, very sweet and honey-scented, excellent fresh, baked or preserved. The hardy, vigorous tree produces abundant crops and has good disease resistance. It is partially self-fertile and crops alone, although another compatible plum can further improve yields.

Badoual Mirabelle plum tree is a mirabelle plum variety from Brittany, which is unusual, as mirabelles are more often associated with eastern France, Germany and neighbouring regions.
