Golden Gem Crab Apple Pollinator is a flowering crab apple variety valued for its abundant white blossom and excellent usefulness as a pollinator for apple trees.

Its flowering period coincides particularly well with apple varieties in flowering groups 3 and 4, making it a useful choice for improving pollination in mixed orchards and fruit gardens.

Golden Gem produces strongly scented white flowers in late spring, followed by small golden-yellow crab apples in autumn. The tree is ornamental, attractive to pollinating insects and suitable for both orchard and garden planting.

Like many crab apples, Golden Gem produces abundant compatible pollen and can help improve fruit set on nearby dessert, culinary and cider apple varieties flowering at the same period.
