Marceli Cornelian cherry tree (Cornus mas) produces red, oval cornelian cherries with a sweet, aromatic flavour and very good eating quality.
The fruit weighs around 3.4 to 4.6 g and can be eaten fresh or used for preserves.
Marceli ripens from late August to early September.
The tree is naturally resistant to diseases and crops very regularly from year to year.
Budbreak and flowering occur very early, but the flowers have excellent frost resistance.
Marceli is a productive variety.
We supply Marceli as a grafted Cornelian cherry tree on seedling rootstock, grown in pot as a one-year plant, with an average height of around 1.4 m.
