Ekzotichese Cornelian cherry tree (Cornus mas) produces very large pear-shaped cornelian cherries, among the largest in size.
The fruit is suitable both for fresh eating and for preserves.
Ekzotichese ripens in the normal Cornelian cherry season, from early September. The fruit can be kept for 3 to 4 weeks in cool storage.
The tree is naturally resistant to diseases and crops very regularly from year to year.
Budbreak and flowering occur very early, but the flowers have excellent frost resistance.
The name Ekzotichese means exotic.
