Trapezitsa deserves a place for beginning the pear harvest at the very start of summer. Its fruit may ripen in late June or early July in a warm position, well ahead of conventional cultivars. We would offer it as an early curiosity for prompt eating after harvest. European experience remains limited regarding regularity, storage life and disease behaviour.

Description

Trapezitsa is one of the earliest-ripening summer pears. In warmer climates it should be ripe in late June or early July.
