Précoce Hénin offers exactly what is expected from a good August pear: initially crisp before becoming melting, exceptionally juicy, rich in sugar and gently tangy. It ripens directly on the tree and is genuinely refreshing in summer. The tree is hardy and highly disease resistant. Yields are moderate, fruit drops readily and the eating season is exceptionally brief.
