Beurré Morettini is one of the best ways to begin the season with a genuine dessert pear. Ripening earlier than Williams, it combines exceptionally juicy white flesh with a mild, sweet and aromatic flavour. The tree is valuable for extending the harvest calendar. Like many early pears, the fruit develops rapidly after picking and should be eaten or processed promptly.

Description

Morettini is one of the best-flavoured early-season pears for eating fresh, with a juicy sweet flesh. It is related to Williams (also known as Bartlett) and inherits that variety’s productivity and sweet flavour.
