Spring Satin is a true plum-apricot hybrid valued for its early harvest and ability to perform in humid growing regions. Its large, dark red to nearly black fruit contains sweet, juicy and aromatic yellow-red flesh with a complex plumcot flavour. Useful tolerance to bacterial leaf spot and canker is an advantage. A compatible pollinator is advisable in European orchards.

Description

Spring Satin Pluot Tree is an interspecific plum-apricot hybrid appreciated for its attractive dark red fruit and excellent flavour. The flesh is sweet, juicy and aromatic, combining qualities of both apricot and Japanese plum.

This early-season variety is productive and ornamental, with attractive spring blossom followed by richly coloured fruit during summer. The fruit is well suited to fresh eating and develops particularly good flavour in warm sunny conditions.

Spring Satin is valued by orchard enthusiasts for its unusual fruit quality, vigorous growth and reliable productivity.
