Aprikyra is an unusual interspecific hybrid for growers seeking rare and distinctive fruit. Self-fertile and productive, it ripens in July with round violet-red fruit about the size of a small apricot. The red flesh is crisp and exceptionally juicy, combining sweet-sharp apricot and cherry flavours. The tree tolerates cold well and shows useful resistance to brown rot.

Aprikyra Pluot Tree is an interspecific plum-apricot hybrid appreciated for its attractive fruit and rich aromatic flavour. The fruit combines the sweetness and perfume of apricot with the juicy texture and productivity of plum hybrids.

The medium-sized fruit develops attractive coloured skin and sweet flesh suitable for fresh eating as well as desserts and preserves. The tree is productive and ornamental, with attractive spring blossom followed by abundant summer fruit.
