Tsu Li nashi tree produces good-sized fruit with good eating quality. The fruit is refreshing, fresh and aromatic.
Tsu Li ripens in September and stores very well, keeping easily for up to 6 months. Its eating quality improves during storage.
This variety is not very prone to disease, although nashi trees are naturally more sensitive to fire blight than pear trees.
Flowering occurs in April, slightly before pear varieties that flower in mid-season, but the bloom periods overlap.
Tsu Li has one of the best storage capacities among nashi varieties.
Nashi is still a little-known fruit, but it deserves more attention for its refreshing character and aromatic flavour. The tree is also ornamental, with larger, glossier leaves than a pear tree and attractive bark.
We produce this grafted nashi tree on several rootstocks, which influence the final size of the mature tree. It is available in several tree forms depending on availability.
