Vranja suits sunny gardens and orchards with enough room for a vigorous tree. We recommend it for exceptionally large golden-yellow fruit with an intense fragrance, excellent for jelly, stewing, preserves and baking. It can crop alone and is a useful pollinator for Leskovacz. The firm flesh is mainly intended for cooking, and the tree requires more space than compact cultivars.

Description

Vranja Quince Tree is a well-known quince variety appreciated for its exceptionally large fruit and intense fragrance. The golden-yellow fruit develops firm aromatic flesh particularly suitable for jelly, preserves, cooking and traditional culinary uses.

This vigorous and productive variety also provides attractive spring blossom and ornamental value in the orchard or garden. The fruit stores well after harvest and develops its characteristic perfume as it ripens.

Vranja remains one of the most widely cultivated quince varieties thanks to its productivity, impressive fruit size and excellent culinary qualities.
