Beautiful Day is particularly useful beside a terrace or path because its white, lightly blushed fruit causes very little staining. The berries are exceptionally mild and sweet, with honeyed, fig-like aromas, and are enjoyable fresh or dried. This is a cultivar for gentle sweetness rather than complexity, so it may disappoint anyone preferring strongly fruity, sweet-tart mulberries.
