Gascogne Tardive de Seninghem cherry tree produces very sweet cherries with medium firmness and a semi-crisp texture.
This is a late cherry variety, harvested from mid-July to August. It can extend the cherry season well after earlier varieties such as Burlat.
Flowering is late. Gascogne Tardive de Seninghem pollinates well with Blanc Nez, Gros Bigarreau de la Groise, Blanche d’Harcigny and other compatible cherry varieties flowering at the same period.
In the Haut-Artois dialect, the fruits of Gascogne Tardive de Seninghem are known as “Blanq Ed Panse”.
We supply this variety as a one-year maiden cherry tree, available on rootstocks of different vigour depending on availability.
