Sanguine de Helmut is an exceptionally rare red-fleshed variety intended primarily for collectors and conservation orchards. Its main interest lies in its unusual pigmentation and its contribution to preserving the diversity of red-fleshed apples. Reliable information about flavour, ripening, storage and tree performance remains limited, so we prefer not to attribute qualities that have not yet been properly confirmed.
