Pendragon is a rare red-fleshed apple from Cornwall or Devon. The whole tree is ornamental: the wood, foliage and blossom show reddish colouring, as does the flesh of the fruit. The sweet-sharp apples can be eaten or used to colour juice, cooking and cider. They ripen early but keep only briefly, while the blossom is exceptionally late.
