It is an excellent home-orchard choice: self-fertile, early into production and easy to process, with sweet almonds in a soft shell. Its main limitation is shared by most almonds: it needs freely draining soil and enough summer warmth for the crop to mature properly.

This variety comes into production quickly and offers good yield potential.

Almond trees appreciate warmth and should be planted in a sunny, sheltered position, protected from wind and spring frosts. In northern climates, planting near a wall can help provide better growing conditions.
