Ichang Lemon

Ichang Lemon Tree is a hardy citrus hybrid appreciated for its large aromatic fruit and excellent cold tolerance compared to traditional lemon varieties. The yellow fruit develops fragrant rind and acidic flesh suitable for culinary use, juice and preserves.

This vigorous evergreen citrus can tolerate temperatures around -10°C to -12°C once established, especially in sheltered sunny conditions with well-drained soil. It is therefore one of the best choices for outdoor citrus cultivation in cooler temperate climates.

Ichang Lemon also has strong ornamental qualities, with glossy foliage, fragrant blossom and decorative fruit remaining attractive throughout much of the year.
