Yuzu No. 1 suits temperate gardens in a warm, sunny position protected from cold winds. We recommend it for early ripening, hardiness and fruit containing relatively few seeds. Both juice and peel are intensely aromatic and highly versatile in cooking. Like other yuzus, the tree is thorny and provides considerably less juice than a conventional lemon.
