Changsa

Changsha Mandarin Tree is a cold-hardy citrus variety appreciated for its aromatic fruit, evergreen foliage and good resistance to low temperatures. The small orange fruit develops a sweet flavour with balanced acidity and can be eaten fresh or used for juice.

Changsha is considered one of the hardiest edible mandarins, capable of tolerating temperatures around -12°C to -15°C once well established and grown in favourable conditions. In colder regions, a sheltered sunny position is recommended to improve fruit ripening and winter protection.

The tree is ornamental throughout the year, with fragrant blossom, glossy foliage and colourful fruit, making it an excellent choice for citrus enthusiasts in temperate climates.
