Sleyt suits small gardens, low edible hedges and plantings where height needs to remain manageable. Very hardy and quick to bear, it produces plenty of sweet fruit that is pleasant to eat fresh. We recommend it for its compact habit and combined ornamental and fruiting value. It performs best in fresh, moderately fertile soil with little lime.

Sleyt is a productive Saskatoon featuring large sweet fruits.

It is less vigorous than other commercial Saskatoon varieties, and can be maintained at less than 2m high, making it easier to harvest.
