Blanka white currant bush produces numerous long clusters of white currants.
The berries have good eating quality, with an aromatic and tangy flavour.
The white colour makes the fruit less attractive to birds, as is also observed with Versaillaise Blanche.
Blanka is fully resistant to powdery mildew.
This is a mid-season variety and is self-fertile, so a single plant can produce fruit.
We supply Blanka as a bush with several vigorous branches. Fruiting may be possible in the year of planting, with production increasing year after year.
