Frisia Black Locust (Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Frisia’) is a highly ornamental tree appreciated for its bright golden-yellow foliage, which brings strong colour and light to the garden throughout the growing season.
The young leaves emerge in vivid yellow tones in spring, then mature to golden-green during summer while keeping a luminous appearance. Its fine pinnate foliage gives the tree a light and elegant texture.
Frisia is vigorous and can become a medium-sized tree, making it suitable for gardens, parks and ornamental landscape planting. It is particularly effective as a specimen tree where its foliage colour can be fully appreciated.
Like other Robinia varieties, it prefers a sunny position and well-drained soil. Once established, it is tolerant of dry conditions and relatively easy to grow.
