Pedunculate Oak (Quercus robur) is one of the most common and emblematic oak species in Europe. It is a majestic long-lived tree, strongly associated with strength, heritage and permanence.
This species grows slowly but can eventually become a very large tree, generally reaching around 25 to 35 metres in height under favourable conditions. Over time, it develops a broad crown, strong trunk and impressive landscape presence.
Pedunculate Oak is well suited to large gardens, parks, woodland planting, hedgerows and long-term landscape projects. It is also highly valuable for biodiversity, supporting many insects, birds and other wildlife.
Our oak trees are available in several forms depending on current stock. Young plants are sourced from regional nursery partners, while larger plants are grown on in our nursery after transplanting.
