Himrod grapevine produces very large bunches with small seedless berries.

The grapes are fairly sweet, with a pleasant raspberry aroma. For those who do not enjoy the strong acidity of some American grape varieties, Himrod offers a good compromise.

Himrod has strong resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew.

Harvest takes place around mid-August.

Budbreak is early, but thanks to its strong American grapevine background, Himrod has good resistance to spring frost on the buds.

This is an extremely vigorous grapevine, suitable for pergola training.

Himrod is not a very common variety, but it has spread throughout the Northern Hemisphere.
