Romulus is a rare seedless grape with a flavour distinct from more neutral white varieties. Its pale berries are sweet and juicy, with a fruity note sometimes reminiscent of mango. Vigorous and generally disease resistant, it ripens during September in northern Europe. Later than Himrod, it benefits from a sunny position to develop its fullest sweetness and aroma.
