Yuzu no. 1 is a precocious cold-hardy yuzu, developed in southern France.
The dull yellow flesh has relatively few seeds. The skin is thick with a bit oily aromatic zest.
Yuzu no. 1 is not for eating fresh, but is very versatile in the kitchen, where the juice, flesh, zest and seeds can all be used.
