Versaillaise Blanche white currant bush produces white currants with a low-acid, rather sweet flavour when fully ripe.
The berries should be left to ripen properly before harvest. At full maturity, the fruit becomes fairly mild on the palate.
The white colour makes the berries less attractive to birds, as is also observed with the variety Blanka.
Versaillaise Blanche has average disease sensitivity.
Maturity is late. The variety is self-fertile.
We supply Versaillaise Blanche as a cutting-propagated currant bush, available in bush form.
