Francis is a peach we would select for its large, juicy, sweet and aromatic fruit, intended primarily for eating fresh. The vigorous, productive tree can carry generous summer crops when properly thinned. This cultivar remains poorly documented outside specialist collections, however, so we would not claim any particular resistance to peach leaf curl without further reliable evidence.
