Madeleine des Deux Saisons Fig Tree is a reliable two-crop fig variety appreciated for its large green-yellow fruit and sweet flavour.

The first crop, known as the breba crop, ripens very early, often from late June, which is exceptionally early for a fig. A second autumn crop follows in September and October under suitable conditions.

This variety is considered a safe and dependable choice for regions with short or cool summers, including areas north of the Loire and parts of Belgium where many fig varieties may struggle to ripen consistently.
