Geneva G213 Apple Rootstock is a dwarfing apple rootstock from the Geneva® breeding programme, producing trees with vigour close to M.9. It is particularly appreciated for modern high-density orchards thanks to its excellent productivity and good yield efficiency.
Compared with traditional M.9 clones, G.213 generally provides similar tree size while offering improved resistance to fire blight, Phytophthora root rot and woolly apple aphid. It also performs well in replant situations and produces well-anchored trees with good orchard uniformity.
G.213 is considered a productive and resilient alternative to M.9 for intensive orchard systems requiring good disease resistance combined with controlled vigour.
