Bee-bee tree suits large gardens, orchards and pollinator-friendly planting schemes, in well-drained soil and full sun or partial shade. We particularly recommend it to beekeepers and biodiversity projects, as its fragrant late-summer flowers provide valuable forage for bees. It is hardy and easy to grow, but becomes a large spreading tree and needs plenty of room.

The species Tetradium daniellii, also known as Euodia, produces a large deciduous tree, eventually reaching 10m or so. It is of interest to orchard owners because it is a magnet for bees, producing abundant flowers continuously throughout the summer.
