New York Muscat grapevine produces very large bunches with large, deep blue berries.
The grapes are juicy, sweet and of very good eating quality, with fruity and muscat aromas.
This variety has excellent resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew.
Harvest begins from late August.
Budbreak and flowering occur in the normal season.
New York Muscat is a very vigorous grapevine and can be used for pergola training.
It originates from the United States and comes from a cross between Muscat of Hamburg and the American grape Ontario. This gives a grape tending towards the muscat character of Muscat of Hamburg, while keeping good disease resistance and earlier maturity.
The variety was obtained by the Cornell University experimental station in the United States. It is widely grown there, although it remains rare and difficult to find in France.
We supply New York Muscat as a grafted grapevine plant, bare-rooted and of professional quality.
