Hakuro Nishiki Flamingo Willow (Salix integra ‘Hakuro-nishiki’) is a highly ornamental willow appreciated for its colourful young foliage flushed with pink, cream and soft green tones.
During spring and early summer, the fresh shoots develop distinctive shrimp-pink coloration, giving the plant its popular French name “Saule crevette”. The shrub naturally forms a dense rounded shape reaching approximately 1.5 to 2 metres in height.
Regular pruning is recommended to encourage vigorous new growth and maintain the brightest foliage colours throughout the growing season. Its elegant habit makes it particularly suitable for ornamental gardens, borders and container planting.
Our Hakuro Nishiki willows are available in several sizes depending on current nursery stock.
