Growing and Training

Saint Jean d'Hardelot is very vigorous and usually grows with an attractive shape. If grafted on a vigorous rootstock it should be long-lived.

As the name suggests this variety was discovered growing in the French coastal town of Hardelot on the English Channel, and it makes a good choice for windy situations.
