Nikolka is a modern early-season Cornelian cherry developed in Ukraine. The fruits of this variety tend to all ripen at once, making harvesting quick and easy.

The abundant fruits are large and bright red, with a bitter-sweet flavour, and can be rich in antioxidants. The stone comes away easily from the dark red flesh.

Growing and Training

Nikolka is not self-fertile, we recommend you plant another different Cornelian cherry variety nearby.

Nikolka is very easy to grow, but do not allow the tree to dry out over the summer - regular watering is needed.
