Marseigna is a small, sweet, mildly bitter and highly aromatic French cider apple capable of producing excellent juice. Sugar levels are useful, although the fruit is less juicy than some modern cider cultivars. It ripens relatively early and is considered a good pollinator. We recommend it mainly for adding sweetness, fragrance and roundness to cider blends.
