Braeburn is an excellent modern apple for European regions with sufficiently warm autumns. Its very firm, crisp and juicy flesh has a pronounced balance of sweetness and acidity, combined with excellent storage potential. We recommend a warm, sunny position. In colder or less sunny regions, the fruit may ripen too late and fail to develop its full sweetness and flavour.

It has a very good flavour when grown in the right conditions, and stores extremely well. It is a good choice for the home orchard, provided you are in an areay with a warm autumn climate.
