The apples have a distinctive ribbed green / yellow appearance., with red / orange flecks, and are normally picked in mid-August.

History

Precoce de Wirwignes originates from northern France or southern Belgium. It was rediscovered growing in a garden in Wirwignes, and is also known as Directeur Lesage.
