Berner Rosen is an attractive medium-sized dessert apple. The green skin is usually almost entirely covered with a deep orange / red flush, flecked with dots.

The flesh is firm and fine-grained, and the flavour is rich and aromatic.

Also known as Rose de Berne, Berner Rosen was raised in the late 19th century in Oppligen, near the city of Bern.
