Cabarette is traditional very-late season dessert apple from the 19th century, still found in old orchards in northern France. It is also well-known in Belgium, where it is usually known as President Van Dievoet.

The yellow / green apples ripen in late October or early November and then need to be stored for a month or so before they are sweet enough for eating. The flesh is crisp and juicy.
