Belle Fleur de France is a traditional dual-purpose apple variety, found widely across the north of France and the French-speaking area of Belgium (Wallonia).
The large green apples have a red flush, and ripen in late September or early October. They are versatile, and can be eaten fresh or used in the kitchen for apple tarts and preserves. This is also a particuarly good variety for juicing.
